Result-oriented sprint support led by advisors with investment-banking backgrounds.
Have a CFO but new to US listings? Our banking-background advisors plug in as a sprint task force: financial readiness, filing quality, intermediary coordination and roadshow delivery — aligned in one pass, so your team skips the detours.
Combine them to cover the full IPO cycle.
A sprint fixes execution quality, not missing foundations. Get the direction wrong and it postpones the problem by three months at a higher price.
If your problem is "we know what to do but cannot finish it to standard", a sprint helps. If it is "we do not know what to do", you need a route diagnosis, not a sprint.
Comments are not an exam. They are a reconciliation exercise — every question points at one thing: can what you disclosed be supported by numbers and documents.
First, do not argue — comments are not a debate, clarity beats persuasion. Second, give data: every qualitative sentence needs a reconcilable position behind it. Third, stay consistent: round three cannot contradict round one, because the staff reads all rounds together. Fourth, do not open new issues — volunteering a new related-party flow or a new accounting treatment buys you another round.
A round is usually about a month. The more complete the first filing, the fewer the rounds; the more gaps buried in it, the more each round repairs the last. Windows do not wait — two extra rounds can mean missing the pricing environment entirely.
The boundary is a compliance requirement, not caution. Stating it clearly makes projects move faster.
CFO placement answers who does the work; the sprint answers how. It covers the 12-18 months before listing: finance clean-up and SEC filing gap diagnostics, coordination with auditors and underwriters, the financial sections of the prospectus and SEC comment responses, plus roadshow materials and the valuation model. The two can be combined or commissioned separately.
Revenue recognition, related-party transactions and VIE disclosure, consistency of accounting policy choices, and comparability of historical financials. Comment letters carry response deadlines, and a slow or incomplete answer pushes the listing date directly, so the positions need to be locked to IPO standard in advance.
Yes. The sprint can be commissioned alone — for example just the filing gap diagnostic or just comment-letter responses — or bundled into the full US IPO mandate. Most clients decide which segment they need after a route diagnosis, based on the actual gaps in their finance function.
12-18 months is the recommendation. Audit basis changes, controls build-out and restating historical financials all take time and often reach back two or three years. Starting only just before filing most often means the auditor cannot issue a clean opinion, and the timetable slips.
We do. 51CFO leads as the banking party and puts the auditors, counsel, underwriters and the company's finance team on one timetable, so the filing materials are not reworked repeatedly because each side is working to a different clock.
A 30-minute listing-route diagnosis: we assess which route fits you, the timetable and the gaps on your team, and set out the next steps. Free, and fully confidential.
